Class
rooms
GitaRam School and College of Nursing are housed in a spacious building that is very much exclusive for teaching and learning nursing education. There are 10 lecture halls equipped with a whiteboard with overhead projectors and LCD projectors. Seminar halls are also available for seminars and conferences.
Laboratory
Without a solid foundation, it is difficult to create anything of value. Our AC roomed Nursing Foundation lab permits, understudies, to acquire sufficient information about essential methods that will establish the firm frameworks of nursing basics. To strengthen the foundation, our large lab is well-equipped with patient simulators, on which students will be taught the fundamentals of patient care.
Library
GitaRam Nursing School and College are a Nursing Sciences College. Our library has the necessary learning resources to encourage research and self-learning. Every year, the most recent editions of nursing books are purchased and distributed for referencing and circulation. The library is kept up to date with the most recent textbooks and journals. Our library has a seating capacity of 150 students with more than 2500 books. Latest editions Books and Journals are available.
Hands-on
training
We assign them to the routine tasks that a nurse performs. We place them with patients to gain real-world experience. We think, Nursing can involve a ton of active consideration, like taking care of, dressing, and washing patients, controlling medications and dressing wounds, giving pre-operation and post-operation care, and getting ready and directing infusions. Not to mention dealing with a slew of emotional problems.
Use of Human Models
To teach students how to do things correctly, we use a variety of human models. It is our initiative to learn about the many types of ailments and how to treat them properly. We believe that firsthand experience is required to know what to do and what not to do.
Professional
development
Clinical learning is an important component of nursing education. One of the most important factors influencing the teaching-learning process in clinical settings is students’ exposure to clinical learning environments. We wanted to look into the challenges that nursing students face in the clinical learning environment. Materials and Procedures This is a qualitative study that employs the content analysis method.
Hostel
The majority of B.Sc Nursing students prefer to stay in the college’s hostels. Hostel life has a significant impact on one’s individuality. Because of the hostel environment, a hostel inmate is imbued with a great deal of responsibility, and it also promotes independent thinking. We provide Separate hostel facilities for both men and women within the campus for the students. The hostel also has Modular Beds with bed boxes, individual cupboards, and study tables with chairs, as well as a 24-hour water supply, electricity, a pantry, safe waste disposal, laundry, and hot water supply. Indoor games and television are also available.
Transport
GitaRam Nursing School and College have a full-fledged transportation department to manage a fleet of transportation facilities for the convenience of students, faculty, and staff.
Sports
The Department of Physical Education at GitaRam Nursing School and College organizes sports and recreation activities for the students. Volleyball, Basket Ball, Hand Ball, Tennis, Shuttle Badminton, Table Tennis and Carroms are the games that are available here.
