Course Name: Bachelor of Science(Nursing)

The GitaRam Nursing College was founded in 2019 on the extended campus of the GitaRam Hospital in Berhampore, Murshidabad The B.Sc (Nursing) course is being launched by the school to prepare clinical Nurse practitioners.

NEET which is sponsored by the Indian Government or numerous other university entrance examinations provides admission to the University of BSc Nursing. BSC Nursing offers entry to the Indian Army through the MNS Nursing Exam.

Course Details :-

1. Seats 60 Seats

2. Duration 4 Years

3. Age limit (as on 31.12.2021): 

 

    • The minimum age for Admission shall be 17 years.
    • Candidate must be Females

4. Nationality

  • She should be citizen of India
  • She will be an occupant of West Bengal uninterruptedly for no less than five years going before
    the date of making the application for admission to the preparation Academy.
  • The residential certificate should be issued by a Gazetted officer/MLA/Zila Parishad
    Sabhadhipati/Mayor of Municipal Corporation.

5. Educational Qualification

    • The candidate must pass (10+2) level Examinations from any recognized Board & must pass the GNM course and obtain a Registration/RERM certificate from the State Nursing Council of any state of India. 
    • Positive execution in joint passageway (JEPBN) assessment led by the college.

6. Selection Process

  • Selection will be based on the common entrance examination JENPAS-UG.

7. Accommodation of Application

    • Should be submitted to the Principal of GitaRam College of Nursing.

8. Medical Fitness

  • Candidates should be medically fit.

9. Excursion

  • According to standards set somewhere near West Bengal University of Health Sciences.

10. Examination

  • University examinations will be conducted every year on the subjects covered during that respective year.

11. Registration

  •  The students who are declared successful in the final year examination are eligible for registration with the W.B.N.C. as Registered Nurse.
